Our Chicago wedding band performed for Jenna & Adam’s wedding at Oak Brook Hills Resort, and our video clips tell the story. From Artistrings for their ceremony music, through Carol’s 11 piece band for dancing, this crowd went nonstop all night long, and only took a short break to go outside for the spectacular fireworks display. Nicole Zenner from LK Events brought everything together seamlessly, and made it look effortless 🙂
Annie & Mike’s wedding was an amazing summer night in Wilmette, with flawless coordination by Loreen and her team from Clementine Custom Events. From cocktails on the Crabapple Patio, to dinner in the tent, and dancing inside the club, these party-goers were there to celebrate the union of a bride from Milwaukee and a groom from Connecticut. From classic rock to current hits and country too, we played it all, and ended the night with their favorite tune, Van Morrison’s Caravan. With the dance floor chanting for an encore, we brought out one more tune that ended the night perfectly. Your Song circled everyone around Annie & Mike, and ended spontaneously in the best group hug we’ve ever seen.
This bride & groom had two wishes when we sat down and chatted about their wedding day: great champagne, and to have everyone up and dancing the whole night.
Well, the champagne was flowing, and check out this dance floor! Win-win. From the first dance set before we began dinner through the last dance of the night, we all had a blast celebrating New York Style with this fun couple. All of our best wishes to Alexandra & Ryan for a long life together of good health, happiness and success!
Thanks for the kind words and the five-star review on Wedding Wire, Alexandra!
After much deliberation we choose Carol Sarlas’ band. We wanted a band that would keep people on the dance floor all night and they did just that! Carol and Chris were very personal and professional during the planning process. I would not hesitate to use them again!
Our clients often ask what their options are for conversation-friendly cocktail and dinner music, so we thought we’d compile a few examples! Instrumental pop, latin, jazz, and blues are all great choices. From solo piano to a quartet or quintet for more interplay, let’s find the perfect ensemble for your celebration.
Just back from a very fun reception at the Shedd Aquarium for the National Postal Handlers Union Convention. One thing we know for sure….these fish love jazz, and Carol’s band is killin’ it 🙂
Camera sound on these clips, so please forgive the distortion.
SO MUCH FUN!
Your guests will tell you that they're dancing to the best band in Chicago
