It was so amazing to get to know Meredith, Clay, and both of their families as we planned their wedding day. The celebration began at Hope Lutheran Church in Long Grove with the Artistrings Quartet for their ceremony, and then transitioned over to their reception at Independence Grove. Artistrings switched gears to 100% pop string quartet music for dinner entertainment, and then The Chris Sarlas Orchestra took over for dancing. WHAT A PARTY!!!
Check out this special surprise version of Uptown Funk, sung by Meredith and Clay’s friend. An amazing gift to them!
Clay’s mom left us these kind words on Wedding Wire:
The Chris Sarlas Orchestra was the highlight of my son’s wedding reception! Besides the amazing talent that we all enjoyed, they have the timing, and professionalism to create an amazing party. People danced all night! One week after the wedding, we are regularly being asked how we found them (word of mouth) and told how amazing they were. You can’t go wrong with this band! We also used the string quartet for the ceremony and dinner music and they were just as wonderful. They have a huge selection of music to choose form. Chris worked with the Bride & Groom in advance to choose music and discuss everything from the introduction of the wedding party to how to do toasts.
Thank you Tia! We had a blast celebrating with your families!
Stacey & Simeon’s wedding was pure joy — for everyone involved. We’re still smiling 🙂
Artistrings pop string quartet entertained during cocktail hour with the newest tunes from Imagine Dragons, Katy Perry, Coldplay and Lorde. We opened the ballroom for dinner to the impact of the full band, and check out what happened:
Stacey’s mom sent this a few weeks after the wedding:
Hi Chris & Carol,
What can I say! The most wonderful music we had at our daughter’s wedding!!!! People are still talking about you both and all your members! What a joy!
We had a blast working with Daphne & Brett on their beautiful wedding in the Michigan Room at the University Club. Artistrings String Quartet set the mood with all of their favorite pop tunes at Wrigley Square in Millennium Park for the ceremony, and Daphne made her entrance to Jack Johnson’s Better Together. A perfect choice!
If you’re wondering what a dance party feels like with about 100 guests, check out this video clip. We absolutely love it!
Road trip!! Playing for an amazing family is always an amazing experience, and this was certainly no exception. From their beautiful ceremony at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Carmel, IN through the very last dance of their reception at the Omni Severin, this was a celebration to remember.
Gorgeous dinner space
Artistrings Pop String Quartet entertained for cocktails and dinner.
And then we started dancing in the adjacent room. This first clip deserves to stand on its own. Check out grandma (age 94!) dancing with her grandson/brother of the groom. LOVE.
Your guests will tell you that they're dancing to the best band in Chicago
