A new one from Artistrings this week with a string quartet cover of Fireflies (Owl City), and the perfect little visitor that showed up a few nights ago during the mini snow fall. He tapped on our window so we went to see what was going on, and there he was. How cute is this little baby owl?! We’re naming him either Hootie or Keith (Moon), but that’s still up for discussion. This Fireflies string cover is a favorite with all of our Chicago wedding band couples, and it hits all of the bases: string pop, modern pop, and classical pop, with exciting string covers of popular songs.

The Artistrings acoustic pop string quartet is a traditional string quartet made up of four instrumentalists: 2 violins, viola, and cello. One track per instrument, and zero overdubs/stacks. Chicago Wedding Band Performs String Pop – All I Want For Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey) – String Quartet Cover – Holiday Song

The string musicians from our Chicago wedding band had a (virtual) lot of fun recording this string pop and string quartet cover of All I Want For Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey). Holiday string quartet covers and string covers of Christmas songs are perfect for a cozy night at home at this time of year, while enjoying Christmas lights and even more Christmas music and holiday music.

Christmas music instrumental creates such a warm background for family time and gift wrapping. Mariah Carey’s iconic Christmas song is performed here in classical pop style, with the Artistrings string quartet.

You guys, we had SO much fun with this one. Although we’re still recording from our own individual homes (thanks COVID!), we can play together through the magic of technology. Everlong Cover Acoustic Rock String Quartet, with an absolutely KILLER arrangement from Artistrings. This Foo Fighters tune is a favorite of many, and is unparalleled in the indie and alternative music world. We arranged as a special request for a wedding ceremony, and our couple actually chose it as music for walking down the aisle. Although it’s a lot faster than we’d normally recommend for processional, it worked perfectly for this couple as they walked down the aisle. Bonus: it works really well for a wedding ceremony recessional, the music for walking out after the ceremony is finished! This Indie tune has become a favorite with our Chicago string quartet.
