Everlong Cover Acoustic Rock String Quartet, with an absolutely KILLER arrangement from Artistrings. This Foo Fighters tune is a favorite of many, and is unparalleled in the indie and alternative music world. We arranged as a special request for a wedding ceremony, and our couple actually chose it as music for walking down the aisle. Although it’s a lot faster than we’d normally recommend for processional, it worked perfectly for this couple as they walked down the aisle. Bonus: it works really well for a wedding ceremony recessional, the music for walking out after the ceremony is finished! This Indie tune has become a favorite with our Chicago string quartet. When searching for the perfect Chicago micro wedding ensemble to set the mood and entertain your guests, it doesn’t get better than this. Check out the Artistrings cello & guitar duo playing this R&B classic from Marvin Gaye. Smoking hot! Mini weddings are the way to celebrate these milestone occasions this year, and be safe doing it.
Here’s a classic pop tune that makes everyone smile. The Artistrings Chicago pop string quartet has some favorite tunes, and Shiny Happy People is one of them! We’re throwing it back to 1991 and loving every second.
You know the words, sing along! “Shiny happy people laughing
Meet me in the crowd, people, people Throw your love around, love me, love me Take it into town, happy, happy Put it in the ground where the flowers grow Gold and silver shine
Shiny happy people holding hands Shiny happy people holding hands Shiny happy people laughing”

Tuesday evening cocktails and Rush with the Artistrings rock string quartet. We’re in! (I can confirm that we each needed a cocktail after recording our individual parts on this one – whew.) Benton Wedge really outdid himself with this epic arrangement of a landmark Rush song. Heads turn every single time we play this one, and for good reason. How often do you see a string quartet playing Rush, right? Maybe we’ll do another soon. Any requests? Hit us up with a message.
We’ve been having a lot of fun with small intimate micro weddings. The weather has been nice and we’re taking advantage of being able to perform outdoors in the open air. String quartet is a beautiful ensemble for a micro wedding, with versatility from classical music to pop and, as you see here, rock.

Here’s some Sweet Child to go with your Tuesday morning coffee, from the Artistrings rock string quartet. Viola solo rocks for DAYS, with this awesome arrangement and solo from Benton Wedge! It’s a given that this song is fantastic background music for a super fun and edgy cocktail hour. But one of our favorite out-of-the-box applications? Processional music for the bride! That’s right. The song choice for the bride walking down the aisle is pivotal for every ceremony, and this one makes a bold statement and establishes the mood for the entire day.
