Chicago Wedding Band Performed for Annie & Tommy’s Party at Evanston Golf Club

July 23, 2016
Evanston Golf Club

We met Annie & Tommy at Dale’s birthday party a few years ago, and they remembered that everyone danced the night away and had so much fun. Feet were hurting the next day, the hallmark of a killer party. Could we pack the dance floor for their wedding too?

Oh, we’d be honored to. BOOM.

Annie, thank you for these kind words on Yelp. Can’t wait to see you guys at the next one!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Chris Sarlas Orchestra. The 11 piece band played at our July 2016 wedding and they killed it! The dance floor was full the entire night, and our guests keep talking about how great the band was. They were incredibly professional and easy to work with. We would highly recommend them!!

This was our first trip to Bloomington, and we were completely blown away by the beauty of this campus! Kate & Matthew’s guests danced the night away to The Chris Sarlas Orchestra, and we even got everyone involved for not one, but TWO Greek sets of dancing. From start to finish, this was a wedding to remember:

If you’re a regular visitor over here, this tune has developed a bit of “friendly competition” between Jae & Tim. They took it to a whole new level at IU:

Thank you to Matthew’s mom for these kind words on Yelp. You guys danced up a storm!

What an incredible evening Sarlas Music provided for my son’s wedding. They were over the top fantastic. A week later and we all are still smiling from all the fun!

through the last dance of the night, this was a party to remember. All our heartfelt thanks to Joan and her team from Five Grain Events for their flawless coordination of Mary & Steven’s wedding day! Check out our favorite moments here:

Mary lit up our Yelp page with this 5 star review:

Chris Sarlas Orchesta performed at our wedding on June 11th and we truly couldn’t be happier with choosing this band!!! We looked at several bands when beginning to plan our wedding and were sold immediately after meeting with Chris and Carol and seeing recordings of their live performances. We chose to do dancing between courses (their idea after we explained our vision). Guests packed the dance floor from the beginning… We literally ran out of space. Everyone had an amazing time and has been raving about the entertainment ever since. No need to look any further… Book this band now! Thank you for everything, Chris, Carol and all of your talented musicians!! Our wedding would not have been the same without you all.

And, we got the best note from Steven after the wedding:

Chris and Carol,

We cant thank you enough for helping us celebrate in such an amazing way. Everyone continues to talk about “that Band” and how great you guys were. You truly made the party come to life and we are so happy and grateful we had you as our band…Looking forward to celebrating with you again at Molly & Angelo’s wedding next year. Molly is one of my best friends growing up and we made it clear if she wanted the best band, you guys were the pick. She has been so excited since our wedding that they chose you guys too!

Can’t wait to see you next summer, Mary & Steven, and Molly & Angelo!

Chicago Wedding Band Performed for Caidi & Steve’s New Year’s Eve Wedding at The Union League Club

Happy New Year, everyone!

We can’t imagine a better way to begin 2016, and all our thanks to smooth coordination from the team at SoirĂ©e Weddings & Events. Celebrating Caidi & Steve with friends, family, and lots of great music was an incredible honor for us. Music began at the club with our Artistrings violins welcoming guests up the stairs for cocktails. Dinner started with tons of energy from the 17 piece Chris Sarlas Orchestra. We danced, and then the bride and groom shared their first dance: the DMB version of In My Life.

During dinner, we had fun creating a few different moods – our strolling violins on the dance floor serenaded with a set of holiday classics and standards. A little later, we featured our vocal quartet with cajon and acoustic guitar for a conversation friendly unplugged set.

Some dancing highlights from this fabulous celebration:

Every once in a while, we like to post an uncut video to show how we transition from tune to tune and keep the dance floor packed. Here’s what we did in the minutes leading up to the countdown to the New Year. Enjoy!

Of course, we had a few minutes for selfie stick fun at the end of the night. Love this band!

And….we’re blushing. Yes, we got a little misty reading this Wedding Wire review from Caidi’s parents. Can’t thank you enough, Marika & Evan!

OH WHAT A NIGHT! The Chris Sarlas Orchestra reached its consistent high level of achievement at our daughter’s New Year’s Eve wedding this December 31, 2015. They demonstrated their extraordinary dedication to insuring that this magical evening would be spectacular from the onset. True to form, guests danced the night away from the moment they entered the venue to well after midnight. No one wanted to leave and they kept chanting “One more song!” A true testament to their talent . . their energy . . and their interaction with the guests. From the strolling violins to the strong band performance, they were simply put . . . “incredible”.

Highly accomplished and multi-talented, their musicians with the leadership and perseverance for perfection by Chris and Carol Sarlas, made the evening of what dreams are made of and our guests have not stopped praising their performance. Job beyond well done!
