Some weddings just have that kind of magic—the kind that starts in the air the moment guests arrive and only grows as the night unfolds. Amrit & Shivani’s wedding at the Firefly Pavilion at Morton Arboretum was exactly that: elegant, heartfelt, and effortlessly chic.

We were honored to have our Artistrings Chicago pop string quartet be part of the celebration, providing the soundtrack for an unforgettable evening of love, laughter, and lush design.

A Cocktail Soundtrack Fit for a Storybook

Set against the Arboretum’s natural beauty, the cocktail hour unfolded outside on the terrace as golden hour settled in. Guests sipped champagne, admired the surrounding gardens, and were serenaded by a curated mix of pop hits, Bollywood favorites, and signature Bridgerton-inspired string arrangements.

From a string rendition of You Belong With Me to a romantic Bollywood classic or two, every note added to the rich cultural and emotional atmosphere Amrit & Shivani envisioned.

From Terrace to Pavilion: A Scene Change to Remember

As the sun dipped below the trees, guests made their way into the Firefly Pavilion—and gasped.

Thanks to the flawless planning by Malenia Events and the visionary decor of Siblana Events, the transformation was breathtaking. A dramatic black and white color palette set the tone for the evening, made even more striking by towering white floral centerpieces and crystal candelabras that sparkled under the soft lighting.

It was a seamless transition from garden romance to modern glamour—and guests enjoyed every second.

The Perfect Blend of Tradition and Modern Style

We love when couples bring their full selves to their wedding day, and Amrit & Shivani did just that. The music reflected their personalities and their story: contemporary yet timeless, with deep roots in culture and family. From our strings on the terrace to the dance floor inside, every moment was full of warmth, joy, and intention.

To Amrit & Shivani:

Thank you for having us. Your day was as beautiful as your love for each other—and we were honored to help set it to music.

To Malenia Events & Siblana Events:

A dream team. Your coordination and design turned this celebration into an absolute work of art.

Greek Wedding Songs – Bouzouki Dinner Music at Greek American Wedding

Here’s some quick iphone footage of a Greek-American wedding reception at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago (2017!). Greek wedding songs add such a special feel to a Greek wedding reception, especially when they’re played as background, with bouzouki dinner music. Greek wedding celebrations are steeped in tradition from start to finish, and bouzouki is the signature instrument necessary to create that Greek wedding sound. Greek wedding music is some of our absolute favorite music to play, and this song Emeis Oi Trees Ston Kafene is so much fun – opa!!
